Yes, you can book online for same day hire, but please note, we will need at least 3 hours prior notice in order to arrange the vehicle for you. If it is within a 3 hour period, please call us on 0845 519 20 77 and one of our sales team will assist you.
Yes, you can cancel your booking free of charge, as long as it is outside of a 48 hour period of travel (please read our Terms and Conditions for a full breakdown of cancellation). If you would like to cancel, the only accepted method is through the Cartrawler Website.
You will receive conformation via email shortly after booking your rental vehicle. If you do not receive your booking conformation for any reason, you can call us on 0845 519 20 77 or email us at info@visioncarhire.com.
There is usually a minimum rental age of 25 to pickup Car Hire, however we can arrange car hire at most rental locations for customers ages 21 to 25. This usually incurs a Young driver’s surcharge, which will be displayed on the pricing for the booking.
You will need both parts of your driving licence, photo licence and counterpart. You will also most likely need a credit card to leave as a deposit on the car rental, some car rental suppliers do accept debit cards, so please call before hand to find out more. You will also need all the documentation Vision Car Hire has sent you.
The majority of our Car Hire suppliers will need you to swipe a credit card at the rental location in order to leave a deposit on the vehicle. There is some suppliers that will accept a debit card, please call us on: 0845 519 20 77 before making your booking if you do not own a credit card.
When you have found the vehicle that you are interested in, you must press book, and then go to the top of the page and you will see the full collection address. If this address is not right for you, please call us on: 0845 519 20 77 and we will see if we can find you a more suitable pickup location.
Some vehicles can be taken abroad; however, there will usually be travelling cost for doing this. Please check the rental conditions when making the booking or call us now on: 0845 519 2077 and we will give you a full costing for taking the vehicle abroad.
At the majority of locations, rental vehicles will not be delivered; they must be collected from the rental locations. However, there are some locations, namely Jersey, where rental cars will be delivered, so please call us on: 0845 519 20 77 and we will see what we can do for you.
Vision Car Hire can supply a number of extras on the hire vehicle, when you go to book the rental vehicle, you will be presented with a number of extras, ranging from child seats, to snow chains, and these will also have prices next to them. These prices are payable locally, at the rental location.
We will try our hardest to supply the rental vehicle you have booked, however, usually when booking a rental vehicle, you book the chosen vehicle or similar. To see a list of similar vehicles, please click on the rental details on the booking screen.
Most rental suppliers will allow people with up to 6 points to rent a vehicle, however, if you do have any endorsements on your licence, please call us on: 0845 519 20 77, and we will be able to advise if you can hire the vehicle.
